PLARO Terms of Service

1. Service Scope

• PLARO is a productivity service for notes, calendars, reminders, workspaces, organization and team collaboration, file and web summaries, quiz generation, recording and meeting support, and AI generation or summarization.
• Some features may be provided through external APIs, infrastructure, or processors such as Google Gemini, OpenAI, Cloudflare, LiveKit, and Creem.
• PLARO is not an official product of external AI model providers and does not imply affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship unless expressly stated.

2. Accounts, Permissions, and Security

• Users must provide accurate information and secure their accounts, passwords, social logins, devices, API access, and invitation links.
• Users under 14, or minors who require consent under local law, may not use the service without consent from a legal guardian.
• Account sharing, automated mass signup, abuse of free benefits or refunds, and attempts to bypass security may lead to restrictions or termination.

3. User Content, Sharing, and Recording Consent

• Users must secure the rights and consents needed for materials they upload, write, record, transcribe, share, process with AI, or generate.
• Materials involving meetings, classes, calls, voices, screens, or third parties must comply with applicable recording, communications, publicity, and privacy laws, including prior notice and consent where required.
• When a workspace, organization, team, calendar event, note, file, quiz set, or meeting record is shared, designated members may view that content and derived AI outputs.

4. Plans, Tokens, and Recurring Billing

• Paid plans activate immediately after payment and may renew automatically on a monthly or yearly cycle. Payments are processed by payment processors such as Creem.
• AI tokens, recording minutes, file size, generation job count, model selection, and similar features may be limited by plan. Remaining allowances are not guaranteed cash-equivalent assets.
• After cancellation, access continues until the end of the current billing period and future charges stop. Cancellation does not automatically refund the already paid period.

5. AI Features and Professional Judgment

• AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, bias, hallucinations, or outdated information, and users must review them before making important decisions.
• The service must not be used for automated decisions or as a substitute for professional advice in high-risk areas such as legal, medical, financial, employment, safety, credit, or insurance matters.

6. Restrictions, Suspension, and Termination

• The Company may restrict features, block content, suspend accounts, or terminate service when laws, these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, payment-provider requirements, or security needs are violated or reasonably suspected to be violated.
• Parts of the service may be temporarily unavailable for security, incidents, maintenance, external-service failures, abuse response, or legal requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

• To the extent permitted by law, the Company may limit liability for indirect, special, or incidental damages arising from free features, beta features, AI-assisted features, external infrastructure failures, user content, or third-party acts.
• This section does not exclude liability that cannot be limited by law, including willful misconduct, gross negligence, or mandatory consumer protection rules.

8. Changes and Contact

Changes may be announced through in-service notices, email, or updates to this page. We aim to provide reasonable advance notice for material changes.
