PLARO Acceptable Use Policy

This Policy sets safety and lawful-use standards for PLARO services, AI features, recording and meeting tools, and sharing or collaboration features. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited Conduct

  • Illegal activity, fraud, phishing, spam, malware, account takeover, security bypass, service disruption, and excessive automated requests are prohibited.
  • You must not upload, record, transcribe, summarize, or share another person’s personal information, trade secrets, copyrighted works, voice, image, or meeting materials without authority.
  • Hate, harassment, sexual exploitation, child-safety harm, self-harm encouragement, incitement to violence, weapon or hazardous-material assistance, illegal drugs, or criminal facilitation are prohibited.

2. AI Use Restrictions

  • AI must not be used to automate decisions that materially affect people in legal, medical, financial, employment, credit, insurance, education evaluation, or similar areas.
  • AI must not be used for impersonation, misleading deepfakes, mass misinformation, or cheating in evaluations, exams, or hiring processes.
  • When you use AI features you must also follow the usage policies of the AI providers PLARO uses (the OpenAI Usage Policies and the Anthropic Usage Policy), which apply to you as an end user.
  • Do not try to get around AI safeguards (for example by jailbreaking or prompt injection), and do not use AI outputs to build or train AI models that compete with those providers.

3. Files

  • You must not upload or summarize malware, executable attack code, infringing files, or documents without access rights.

4. Enforcement

The first item below does not apply to consumers in Québec.

  • If a violation is confirmed, PLARO may take steps proportionate to it — remove content, block sharing, restrict features, suspend or terminate the account, or report to the authorities — following the procedure in Section 6 of the Terms of Service (notice and a chance to respond first; in urgent cases we act first and tell you without delay).
  • AI credits or recording minutes obtained through abuse may be taken back. Withdrawal and refund rights given by law are not limited, and if we terminate an account for a violation, we refund the price of the period not yet provided less the loss the violation caused.
